Purpose of Role

The Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of digital solutions through cross-functional agile teams. This role manages a team of Business Analysts, partnering closely with Product Managers, UX Engineers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of customer-centric solutions.

The Digital Delivery Manager is accountable for delivery execution, team performance, and stakeholder alignment of the business analysts while operating within an Agile software development lifecycle. This role is focused on consistent delivery, team leadership, and operational excellence. This person combines leadership, strategic thinking, and operational rigor to drive measurable outcomes.

Principal Accountabilities

Delivery & Execution

  • Own end-to-end delivery of digital product initiatives within assigned value streams or product areas
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met across scope, timeline, quality, and budget constraints
  • Facilitate agile delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) in partnership with Product and Engineering leaders
  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments
  • Support release planning, change management, and post-release evaluation
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders clearly and effectively

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Managers to translate product vision into executable delivery plans
  • Collaborate with UX Engineers to ensure user-centered design is integrated into delivery workflows
  • Work closely with Software Engineering leads to align on capacity, sequencing, and technical dependencies
  • Serve as a primary delivery point of contact for business stakeholders and BAs

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and refine Agile practices across the team.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize delivery.

Strategic Contribution

  • Support roadmap planning and resource allocation.
  • Advocate for user-centric design and data-informed decision-making.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly manage and develop a team of Business Analysts
  • Provide coaching on requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, stakeholder engagement, and agile practices
  • Conduct performance reviews, goal-setting, and career development planning
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and psychological safety

Delivery Performance

  • Sprint and release predictability (planned vs. delivered work)
  • On-time delivery of committed initiatives
  • Dependency and risk management effectiveness

Quality & Outcomes

  • Adherence to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Post-release stability and customer impact metrics (where applicable)

Team Effectiveness

  • Business Analyst productivity and engagement
  • Ensure a solid backlog is prepared in a timely fashion for the software engineering teams
  • Improvement actions completed from retrospectives

Backlog Health & Lead Times:

  • Ensure a solid backlog is prepared in a timely fashion for the software engineering teams

Collaboration Efficiency:

  • Measure the effectiveness of collaboration with developers and other departments.

Stakeholder Satisfaction

  • Stakeholder feedback and satisfaction scores
  • Effectiveness of communication, transparency, and expectation management

Continuous Improvement

  • Measurable improvements in delivery predictability, quality, or cycle time
  • Adoption of agile best practices and process enhancements

Key Relationships

  • Internal – finance, commercial, client success, operations, and technology teams
  • External – external technology vendors, application software providers, clients, and project consultants

Experience/Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in digital product delivery, business analysis, product management, project management or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software solutions using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid)
  • Strong understanding of Agile principals and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience driving software features for global usage
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and sustain improvements
  • Proven track record in leadership and mentoring
  • Experience with ITAD desired but not required

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse set of clients and internal stakeholders, product managers, and software engineers.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and risk management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with project management tools and software, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Familiar with design tools like Figma.
