- Hours: 7a to 330p Monday – Friday with overtime as required including weekends. Schedule may change based on business necessity.
- Pay Rate: $25.56 per hour
- Union position – Teamsters Local 150
- Union Initiation Fee $325 / Monthly Union Dues $64
Job Summary:
Performs repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment such as diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, electrical systems, and mobile equipment (excavator, dozer, loader, or forklift). Maintains shop cleanliness and housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Perform required equipment repairs and maintenance, including fueling and lubricating machines.
- Maintain shop to comply with company housekeeping policy (removing trash, keeping proper labels on drums, sweeping or blowing down floors, keeping materials in proper places).
- Wash equipment when necessary for repairs or after PM is completed (using proper PPE).
- Ensure all equipment complies with OEMs and regulatory agencies operating standards, ensures proper equipment lubrication in compliance with OEMs lubrication schedule.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee should understand the high impact this position holds to maintain cost control, equipment reliability, and performance. The employee will be accountable for effective and efficient repair part gathering, using proper identification of parts needed, and ordering procedures.
- Assist in general grounds maintenance and building maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge and use of hand tools
- Welding experience preferred
Job-Related Experience:
- Twelve months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.)
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
