Build effective partnerships across Sales, Operations, Settlement and Financial Control teams to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition, billing and settlement activities across multiple jurisdictions. Support the delivery of operational and financial performance, process standardization, customer support and continuous improvement initiatives across SLS’ global platforms and customer base. This role acts as a critical operational finance bridge between customers, commercial teams, operations and finance to ensure scalable, compliant and customer-focused revenue execution within NORAM.
Salary Range:
$76,000.00 - $90,000
Finance and analysis:
- Compile client settlements and adhere to established procedures so that all clients are billed accurately and within agreed KPIs, driving timely revenue recognition and cash collection.
- Identify, determine, and unlock efficiencies across the billing and settlement processes through process improvement and standardisation.
- Develop a thorough understanding of underlying systems; currently Makor, Navision, Enwis, Vadis
- Partner with commercial, operational and legal teams to interpret customer contracts, pricing structures and service requirements to ensure accurate billing and revenue execution.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support growth initiatives, including customer stratification, one‑time billing solutions, and effective dispute resolution.
- Serve as a key finance interface for strategic customers by proactively supporting billing transparency, dispute management, operational alignment and improving client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and mitigate revenue leakage risks through strong controls, billing governance, reconciliation processes, and dispute management.
- Prepare and input monthly journal entries arising from settlement functions
- Assist in preparation and closing of financial statements.
- Prepare various reports for internal and external reporting
- Perform month-end/year-end close procedures and account reconciliations
- Build relationships with key customers
- Manage direct reports by assigning duties, monitoring and reviewing day-to-day activities, establishing goals and objectives and monitoring and advising on progress to enhance professional development.
- Develop team to identify process and system optimization opportunities within the settlement area.
- Lead other projects as required.
