Job Summary
Represent Sims in acquisition of scrap metal to include pricing of material, pricing and coordinating transportation, sourcing of scrap material, communicating with vendors, maintaining business relationships, negotiating payment terms, negotiating specification of materials, visiting suppliers, and coordination with appropriate parties. Assist in special projects as required.

- Maintain existing business / visit customer sites.
- Communicate with internal parties.
- Stay current with industry trends.
- Assist in special projects.
Job Qualifications
Four-year college degree or equivalent job-related experience
Job Related Experience
Demonstrated buying or sales experience is preferred, 1 or more years.
Other required skills
Ability to travel (occasional overnight travel). Valid driver’s license. Positive credit history. Ability to analyze, define, and problem solve. Proficiency with MS Office. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong time management skills. Excellent oral communication skills. Strong cold-calling and follow-up skills. Excellent negotiating skills.
