The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the administration of the maintenance program for mobile equipment such as creating work orders, obtaining repair quotes, and scheduling services, supporting the Maintenance Manager.
This person will work cross functionally with each departmental manager as well as the Finance department.
Job Responsibilities
- Create work order/requisitions, obtain quotes, and schedule services for all equipment repairs.
- Track equipment usage on a weekly basis and schedule preventative maintenance. Work with vendors and local employees to ensure equipment is well maintained with minimal disruption to the operations.
- With the assistance of the Maintenance Manager, ensure invoiced work is in line with scope of work quoted; dispute and negotiate with vendors as necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring Fixed Asset lists at all facilities are maintained and accurate. Perform routine asset audits as required by company policy and submit additions, transfers and disposals as necessary.
- Develop routine reports and ad hoc analysis to provide better visibility to spend, equipment usage, savings initiatives, and other areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

3+ years maintenance planning experience; ability to work in maintenance/production environment

Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Excellent oral and written communication skills
