Rail Car Laborer/Operator to join the operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual handling and movement of rail cars. You will operate specialized machinery and perform ground-level duties like throwing switches and connecting air hoses

Key Responsibilities
•    Rail Operations: Safely operate railcar moving equipment (Shuttlewagon) to position cars for loading and unloading.
•    Ground Support: Align and throw track switches, set handbrakes, and couple/uncouple rail cars using standard industry procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
•    Physical: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb on/off rail equipment throughout the day.
•    Technical Aptitude: Experience operating heavy machinery or a willingness to be trained on rail-specific equipment.
•    Communication: Excellent verbal communication via two-way radio.
•    Reliability: A "safety-first" mindset and a track record of punctuality.
•    Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Experience
•    Previous experience in a rail yard or heavy industrial environment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.) The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
