We are seeking an Operational Business Analyst to join our high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional who thrives on solving business challenges, identifying opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.

 

Reporting to the Site Manager at our LaVergne, TN location, the Operational Business Analyst compiles client data/reports from logistics and onsite projects and plays a key role in advising operational leadership and client decision-making via strategic data analysis. In addition to providing excellent customer service in meeting clients’ needs, this role will evaluate trends and recommend actions to improve operational performance and will drive proper decisions using independent judgment to ensure that client needs are met in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead both routine and complex data analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Analyze, interpret, and create meaningful reports from complex/multiple data sources for Global clients. 
  • Design, prepare and deliver essential data and reports for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Provide timely data and reports on a daily, weekly, or as-needed basis for management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining procedures and processes within areas of expertise.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, bridging technical and non-technical perspectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and align business needs and deliver data-driven solutions. 
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through thorough cleaning, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Provide strategic analysis to support client programs/tracking and reporting efforts/business decisions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or data warehousing solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of data analytics or a similar role.
  • 2+ years experience with using business intelligent tools such as Power BI, Tableau or data warehousing.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with strategic mindset.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion on matters of significance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to professionally communicate at all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong telephone and e-mail communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems and to remain organized while multi-tasking.
  • Knowledge of databases and their uses.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods. 
  • Thorough and detail-oriented approach.

 

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
  • Typical use of office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, etc.
  • Long periods of sitting, standing, walking, and telephone speaking and listening.
  • Must be able to take on new assignments as needed regardless of existing workload.
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and related stresses in a timely manner.
