Purpose of Role

Manage and administer the various Equipment Management Systems including Operating Expense accounts within Microsoft AX financial system and the Equipment Administration Tool for NAM Metals. Ensuring system operation, compliance, functionality, standardisation, integrity of information, generation of reports and integration with other business units.

Principal Accountabilities

Manage and support the NAM EAM and CMMS system, including:

  • Accurately maintain Equipment Register within both financial system (AX) and maintenance system (MEX) software applications in accordance with Global Standards.
  • Process Equipment from budget through to disposals within AX and MEX.
  • Administer Objects within AX and ensure symmetry with Project accounts within AX.
  • Administer Equipment within MEX and ensure symmetry with AX.
  • Control users and access levels including quarterly audit reports for Internal Audit team within MEX.
  • Ensure system operation, support Regional Operations issues, liaising with vendor or other departments if necessary, liaising with ANZ and UK counterparts.
  • Audit operations for compliance and accuracy.
  • Build and generate reports within the CMMS to facilitate the effective use of the system by Regional Operations and Maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence team to build and generate Power BI reports for Operations Managers, Procurement, Asset Development and Asset Optimisation teams on a timely basis including Equipment Full Life Cycle and individual unit Operating Cost reports.
  • Administer MEX prestart application and devices to collate and monitor machine hours for all equipment.
  • Coordinate monthly reviews with both the Asset Optimisation and Asset Development teams to review the status of both Budget and Asset Under Construction equipment within MEX and update the system accordingly.
  • Drive change projects to further enhance the system.
  • Assist in meeting strategies through data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor and drive global standardisation of Preventative Maintenance programs and report on exceptions.
  • Manage MEX software updates.
  • Coordinate NAM quarterly MEX Review meetings with State Engineers.
  • Manage and prepare training resources for new and current MEX users.
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships within the regional finance, operations, maintenance and centre of excellence teams.
  • Assist the ANZ COE with general administration.

Experience Required

· Previous financial or maintenance system administration within an accounts payable or engineering office would be advantageous.

· A working knowledge of Excel and Database software would also be favourable.

· Attention to detail and process.

· Above average verbal and written communication skills.

· Self-motivated.

· Knowledge of accounting and computer systems.

· Analytical thinking, comfortable with numbers and quantitative analysis.

· High level of drive and energy to inspire change.
