The Cash Analyst plays a critical role in managing and analyzing cash-related activities across NAM facilities. This position ensures accurate cash handling, supports forecasting efforts, and contributes to optimizing working capital. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. |

III) Major Job Responsibilities/Duties |
|
|
|
|
|
Conduct regular cash audits at Sims facilities to ensure compliance and accuracy. Prepare monthly cash flow and cash position reports, ensuring compliance with internal controls to prevent fraud and theft. |
|
|
Analyze company purchase and corporate card expenditures. Audit petty cash reports for compliance. |
|
|
Serve as the primary liaison between Sims and financial institutions. Respond to queries from internal departments relating to cash transactions. |
|
|
Resolve operational issues between yards and armored carriers or ATM maintenance providers. This may involve researching general ledgers and coordinating with banks, couriers, or dispatch teams to resolve delays or failures. |
|
|
Lead the setup and implementation of new ATMs across facilities. Provide support in developing and implementing cash handling procedures and controls. |
|
|
Forecast cash orders using historical trend-based data and manage daily cash positioning to ensure liquidity. Analyze ATM cash levels to order cash, ensuring optimal cash availability while reducing downtime, and identify cost-saving opportunities. |
