Job Summary:
The Shift supervisor, oversees and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating machines that process (screen, sort, separate, and bale) recyclable materials.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Inventory Navigation: Utilize Hollander Interchange and Checkmate systems to accurately identify part compatibility and availability.
Sales Execution: Handle high-volume inbound calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries, converting leads into finalized sales.
Technical Consulting: Advise customers on part conditions, mileage, and warranty options to ensure they get the right fit the first time.
Order Management: Process invoices, coordinate with the warehouse/yard team for part pulling, and manage shipping logistics.
Quote Follow-up: Proactively follow up on quotes and build long-term relationships with local repair shops and dealerships.
Job Qualifications:
Software Mastery: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Checkmate (Car-Part.com) and/or Hollander Powerlink.
Parts Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and mechanical/body components.
Interchange Expertise: Ability to explain "interchangeable" parts to customers who may not be aware of cross-model compatibility
