Key Responsibilities:

Display a complete working knowledge of 12 and 24 Volt Electrical Systems, Air Systems, Hydraulic Systems and Power Transmission Systems, employing to diagnose and correct equipment deficiencies.

Ability to change hydraulic cylinders on equipment.

Ability to safely disassemble major components from equipment.

Ability to discern when a piece of equipment is operating properly following corrective maintenance.

Ability to read parts and service manuals and identify needed parts for ordering.

Ability to fabricate and install hydraulic hoses.

Ability to recognize when problems require additional diagnosis and seek assistance when problems are outside of the expectations of a “B” level mechanic to correct.

Ability to diagnose and correct common failures with mobile equipment.

Ability to repair or rebuild minor components such as brake systems on equipment, etc.

Welding and torching capabilities
Experience/Qualifications:
- Technical school preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED
- 2-4 Years Prior mechanical experience required
- Physical ability to perform heavy labor
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Strong Safety Values

Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.)
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
