The Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to lead our yard operations in the Northern Territory. In this key leadership position, you’ll oversee end-to-end operations while driving performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. You’ll be a hands-on leader, cultivating a strong culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.

Day to day:

  • Lead and manage daily yard operations and transport logistics to ensure peak productivity and minimal material waste.
  • Drive a strong safety culture through compliance with EHS standards and risk mitigation.
  • Procure ferrous and non-ferrous materials in line with trading and legislative guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing team—fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage costs in line with budgets and support strategic CAPEX and financial planning.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Engineering or similar (preferred)
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
  • Knowledge of scrap metal, transport legislation, and safety systems is highly regarded.
  • Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant ERP/TMS platforms.
