The Role

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Oxy Cutter to join our Wingfield Yard team. You’ll work a reliable schedule in supportive team, preparing scrap metal to export standards while building your career with a global leader in sustainability.

Day to day

• Performing oxy cutting on a variety of scrap metals
• Downsizing scrap to meet export requirements
• Operating and maintaining cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to keep it in top condition

About you

• Proven experience as a Scrap Metal Oxy Cutter
• Knowledge of metals, their properties, and export standards
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with manual handling
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
• Commitment to safety, with the ability to work independently and in a team
