Internal Vacancy – Maintenance Supervisor – Fixed Plant

We are seeking expressions of interest from internal candidates for the position of Maintenance Supervisor – Fixed Plant based at our Gillman site.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to step into a hands-on leadership role, coordinating a multi-disciplinary maintenance team and contributing to the ongoing reliability and performance of our operations.

 

About the Role
As day shift Maintenance Supervisor-Fixed Plant, you will be responsible for leading fixed plant daily maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

All Maintenance Supervisors play a key role in driving safety, planning, and team performance while working closely with the State Engineer on projects and shutdowns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team to achieve safety and performance targets
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Conduct pre-start meetings with a strong focus on safety and work planning
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximise equipment uptime
  • Collaborate with the State Engineer on capital works and shutdown planning
  • Communicate/coordinate plant availability/issues with production and afternoon shift team.

Please note this role requires a level of flexibility as there may at times be the requirement to assist during shift change over, work in SA yards outside Gillman – including Darwin and Roxby Downs.
