Admin / Export Coordinator – 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract (Wingfield)
Fixed hours | Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm | Wingfield Location
Sims Metal is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin / Export Coordinator to join our Wingfield team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
This hands-on role supports both site administration and export coordination, helping keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
About the role:
Reporting to the Yard Manager, you’ll provide a range of administrative and weighbridge support duties, maintain vendor and training records, and assist with end-of-month reporting.
You’ll also be the friendly face of our site, handling reception, and general office support.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with weighbridge and general administrative duties
- Welcoming and assisting customers in a timely, professional manner
- Supporting the Yard Manager with day-to-day admin tasks
- Maintain accurate scrap vendor account information
- Support end-of-month reporting and data entry tasks
- Update licence registers and input training records
- Provide professional customer service and reception support
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in administration or clerical support
- Strong data entry and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently without supervision
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented approach
