Your new role

Reporting to the Transport Manager, we have an opportunity available to join our close-knit team in St Mary's. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective and safe movement of all freight into and out of our yards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Promote a safety first culture ensuring commitment to safety, Chain of Responsibility and NHVL.
• Overseeing day to day admin duties
• Being the go to contact for escalated queries from drivers, clients & internal teams
• Leading the invoice cycle and driver pay processes
• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry & reporting
• Onboarding new customers and drivers into our systems
• Proactive management of customers, driver & internal stake holder relationships
• Assist the Transport Manager in day to day operations via administration of Transport operations.
• Assist the transport allocator in the day to day admin tasks associated with scheduling of drivers

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

• Proven experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of relevant transport industry codes and legislation
• Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
• Excellent scheduling, planning, and time management skills
• Good problem-solving skills and an outstanding eye for detail
