We’re looking for a trade‑qualified Maintenance Fitter or Boilermaker to join our St Marys maintenance team, taking ownership of mechanical repairs, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance across conveyors, shredders, hydraulics, and heavy plant. This is a hands‑on role with autonomy, variety, and strong opportunities to broaden your skills.
What you'll be doing

Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy industrial plant

Blade changes, sharpening, and performance adjustments

Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues

Fabrication, welding, and component repairs (for Boilermakers)

Maintenance of conveyors, shredders, hydraulics, and heavy plant

Working to a daily maintenance plan and completing required documentation
What you'll bring
- Trade qualification: Maintenance Fitter, Boilermaker, or similar mechanical trade

Experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing or processing environments

Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance

Knowledge of hydraulics, conveyors, or heavy plant (advantageous)

Welding/fabrication experience (for Boilermakers or dual‑trade fitters)

A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
