Lead our Rocklea Operation! Drive the success of our circular economy business.
In this hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of yard operations, with a focus on safety, productivity, and efficiency. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, and optimise logistics and customer service while building strong relationships with key suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the team by sharing your vision of operational excellence within a safety-oriented environment at our Rocklea, QLD site.
- Maximising sustainable profit margins by establishing and implementing key productivity goals, objectives, and procedures in line with established budgets and forecasts.
- Achieving short and long-term continual improvement initiatives aligned with key global business goals and objectives.
- Using knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and continuous improvement techniques to maximise the effective and safe processing of materials.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- Strong scheduling, coordination, and planning skills to maintain the optimal effectiveness of operations and logistics.
- Over 5 years of leadership experience in medium to large-scale teams, to effectively manage a high-performing team in a dynamic working environment.
- Ability to build rapport, with a high customer service ethos.
- A self-motivated approach with a passion for influencing positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with safety and environmental initiatives, EHS management systems, project management, SAP, and SAI is well-regarded.
- In-depth knowledge of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metal sorting & processing techniques to international specifications is highly advantageous.
