We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Officer to join our Queensland Team based in Rocklea. In this role you will be the backbone of our export operations, managing and facilitating critical internal shipping documentation to ensure our recycled metal reaches global market seamlessly.

What You’ll Do
As our Shipping Officer, you will ensure all export transactions are legally complaint, accurate, and executed on time. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate, and review complex export documentation strictly meeting buyer, bank, contract, and letter of credit requirements.
- Efficiently update and maintain critical data within our shipping and logistics systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Handle and prepare foundational accounting and invoicing activities related to the shipping and logistics function.
- Liaise with internal teams, banks, buyers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of documents and smooth cargo dispatch.
Who We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, international freight forwarding, or container shipping
- Proficiency in shipping systems and Microsoft office suite
- Exceptional administrative skills and a proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience in recycling, waste management, or scrap metal is highly regarded, but not essential.
