Operator
We are looking for an experienced Operator to join our recycling operations team. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our busy site, operating a range of mobile equipment including excavators and forklifts while helping to process and recycle valuable materials.

What you’ll be doing:
- Operating forklifts, excavators and other mobile plant safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and skip bins.
- Sorting, grading and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Assisting with the receival, processing and dispatch of recyclable materials.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Following health, safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Supporting general yard operations and site activities as required.
- Delivering outstanding customer service to drivers, suppliers and customers.
What you’ll bring:
- Current Forklift Licence and practical operating experience.
- Previous experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Team-focused approach with a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Knowledge of metal grading and recycling processes (desirable but not essential).
