A new opportunity has become available to join our team in Milperra on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension to cover maternity leave. This customer-facing role will enable you to further develop invaluable skills in the day to day running of our operations with plenty of development opportunities. A competitive salary is on offer.
You will be responsible for the operation of the weighbridge office. Liaising with customers, processing payments, answering calls & record keeping. Creating in-bound and out-bound transfers for intercompany transactions.
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday
Your responsibilities will include
- Timely and professional customer service
- Completion of payments in accordance with customer trading terms
- Accurate record-keeping in line with company requirements
- Maintaining an organised office, including organisation of files and records
- Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager
- Demonstrating a high focus on safety
- Processing of invoices & placing of orders
- Handling incoming phone calls and enquiries
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have
- Previous experience handling accounts and invoicing
- Demonstrated Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) & data entry
- Reliable and efficient team player
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Effective time-management skills
Desirable criteria
- EFT management experience
- Transport scheduling exposure will be highly regarded
- Previous experience operating a weighbridge will be highly advantageous but is not essential
- Inventory and stock control experience will be highly regarded
