Are you mechanically minded and commercially aware, with a passion for delivering meaningful projects? We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead future infrastructure and yard development projects across our NSW yards - reporting directly to the NSW Regional Operations Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing projects end-to-end from scoping and scheduling through to delivery and handover
- Preparing and justifying CAPEX, managing budgets, and ensuring projects deliver value
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and teams across multiple sites
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and engaging the right people at the right time
- Travelling between NSW yards (Tool of Trade/Company Car provided) to support project outcomes
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For
-
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Project Management
-
2-5 years project management experience with engineering exposure
-
Ability to schedule, manage costs/budgets, generate CAPEX & provide justification
-
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-
Commercial awareness - balancing technical delivery with budgets and business priorities

Procurement experience - obtaining quotes and working with suppliers
