Looking for a hands‑on maintenance role where you can use your trade every day and still have your afternoons free?

 

We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Fitter or Boilermaker to join our team at our Milperra site on day shift (6am-2:30pm).

 

About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work across a range of heavy industrial equipment to support safe and efficient site operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Blade changes, sharpening, and adjustments to optimise performance
  • Fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues
  • Fabrication, welding, and component repairs (Boilermakers)
  • Maintaining conveyors, shredders, hydraulics, and heavy plant
  • Working to a daily maintenance plan and completing documentation

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Experience in heavy industrial environments (preferred)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, conveyors, or heavy plant (advantageous)
  • Welding/fabrication experience (for Boilermakers or dual-trade fitters)
