Maintenance Fitter / Boiler Maker - Afternoon Shift

Your New Role

This opportunity will be based in our Milperra Yard at NSW, reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead. You will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of our plant and equipment and will have the opportunity to work on the recent constructed Cable Granulation Plant and Baler that incorporates the newest technology, in order to maximize efficiency and output.   

This position includes shift allowance of 15% + overtime

Training & qualifications can be achieved after the probationary period to advance your career!

Hours of Work:

Monday – Thursday 2 pm – 10 pm 

Friday 12 pm – 8 pm

Responsibilities will include:

• Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment

• Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records

• Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures

• Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns

To be successful, you will have:

• Trade qualifications as a Fitter and/or Boilermaker  with desirable experience in Conveyors, Motors and Gearboxes

• Forklift Tickets an added advantage, but willing to train

• Mechanical aptitude highly regarded

• Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment

• Display flexibility with operations and maintenance
