Are you detail-driven and ready to make a real impact in operations? We’re looking for a self-motivated Inventory Controller to join our NSW team based in Milperra on a fixed-term contract (up to 12 months). There is potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate, based on performance and business needs.
This is a hands-on role that supports critical stock and production processes across multiple yards, offering valuable cross-functional exposure in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
As Inventory Controller, you will:
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records across our systems (currently SAI, transitioning to Keystone)
- Reconcile daily production data and support monthly stocktakes
- Ensure accurate stock movements, including pile transfers and BOM updates
- Assist with month-end reporting and inventory analysis
- Liaise with Operations, Transport, and Commercial teams to ensure stock integrity
- Conduct physical audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with stock systems (e.g., SAI or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Understanding of ferrous/non-ferrous materials and production processes is an advantage
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
