Sims’ Finance Cadet Program offers hands-on experience, with the goal of developing you into a finance professional upon completion.
In addition to gaining experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and budgeting & forecasting, you'll have the opportunity to rotate through key business areas like operations, trading, and transport. This observational learning will help you understand how the entire business functions, preparing you for a successful finance career.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Finance Cadet, you'll rotate across various areas of the business, while also:
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks such as journal entries and accounts payables/receivables.
- Developing reconciliation skills, ensuring accounts match up accurately.
- Participating in monthly financial reporting.
- Working on budgeting and forecasting, learning how to prepare financial plans.
- Gaining experience using finance systems like SAP.
Who We’re Looking For
If you’re someone with some experience in bookkeeping, journaling, or accounts payables, possess strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and a can-do approach, this could be the perfect fit! Experience with MS Excel and Power BI are a plus.
