The role:

We are seeking a FP&A professional to ensure financial accuracy, uphold business controls, and provide operational and commercial support on financial, legal, and corporate matters. This role supports the Regional FP&A Director and Leadership Team in driving effective financial operations and strategic initiatives.

 

Duties:

  • Oversee financial transactions, reporting, and cost accruals in line with business goals.
  • Perform timely financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, including CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Support vendor financial analysis and cost control to ensure target margins.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, including Code of Conduct and audit requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits on inventory, assets, and financial controls.
  • Prepare monthly reports, business reviews, and KPI tracking for the business unit.
  • Maintain expense, intake, and operational cost reports, and support broader commercial reporting.
  • Oversee stocktake processes and reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

 

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar with CPA, CA or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 + years experience as a senior financial accountant looking for the next step.
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing or Heavy Industry preferable;
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal as well as processing techniques preferable.
