The Role:
As our SAP Functional Support Team Lead, you will provide expert guidance to our business users while leading a team of 3 SAP functional consultants. You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring SAP solutions are reliable, effective, and aligned with our organisational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing SAP functional support team.
- Managing and resolving service requests, access requests, defect fixes, and system changes.
- Overseeing configuration, testing, deployment, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP enhancements and upgrades.
- Collaborating with business units to understand requirements and translate them into practical SAP solutions.
- Partnering with the SAP BAU Support Manager to prioritise demand and ensure smooth handover from projects to operations.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years SAP functional experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, Procurement, and Master Data modules.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and tools such as Jira.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
