The Role:
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead advancements in data visibility, processes, tools, and templates, empowering the Procurement team to make informed, data-driven decisions and deliver impactful value-for-money initiatives. By driving the identification, planning, and execution of cost-saving opportunities, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our global procurement strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, monitor and improve procurement processes and systems, ensuring global spend visibility and identifying optimisation opportunities.
- Design and maintain a structured database for procurement data, develop automated data flows, and create dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making.
- Optimise procurement policies, processes, templates and tools while driving best practices and providing training for regional teams.
- Track procurement benefits and KPIs, manage governance frameworks, and report progress on optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory standards, conduct supplier risk assessments, and manage interfaces with third-party check agencies.
- Partner with internal teams and suppliers to address process challenges, resolve queries, and support procurement strategy execution.
- Simplify and automate processes by building tools, refining templates, and integrating systems such as S4 Hana and AX.
About you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement or finance-related roles.
- Strong understanding of finance systems, reporting, and process improvement.
- Proven expertise in business process management, reporting, and controlling.
- Experience with procurement and data analysis, including working with large datasets for spend analysis and cost initiative identification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Power Apps, and Power BI, with the ability to manage large datasets for stakeholder use.
- Familiarity with SAP and AX (preferred but not essential).
