Are you someone who wants to understand why the numbers look the way they do, not just report them?

About the role

This is an FP&A Analyst role with real scope, not a reporting-only seat. You'll be the systems expert for Hyperion and SAP, the person who makes the budgeting and forecasting process sharper and more efficient, and a key link between our ANZ and Group FP&A functions.

You'll work on projects involving financial modelling and automation, alongside monthly close reporting and analysis that feeds directly into senior commercial decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Monthly forecasting, budgeting support and financial analysis for ANZ Metals
  • Acting as Hyperion and SAP super-user - identifying and implementing automation opportunities
  • Supporting ANZ month-end reporting and consolidation, including system uploads and reconciliation
  • Building financial models, dashboards and visualisations that give the business tools it relies on
  • Key support to two FP&A Managers.
  • Contributing to process improvement projects including activity-based costing

About you

We want someone who is genuinely curious.

You'll need to communicate your analysis clearly and confidently to a range of audiences, from finance peers to senior leaders with strong commercial views. That means knowing when to go deep and when to give the headline, and being able to read the room and adjust accordingly.

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or similar.
  • 3-4 years' experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or a similar corporate finance role
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Hands-on Hyperion and/or SAP experience is a significant advantage
  • Solid Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI capability

Why join us

  • Genuine scope to shape how FP&A works in this business
  • Hybrid flexibility - 3 days in office
  • Projects that will challenge you and build your capabilities
  • Parental leave: 12 weeks for primary carers, 6 weeks for secondary carers
  • Health and wellbeing support: BUPA discounts and an Employee Assistance Program
  • Novated leasing and superannuation sessions

To apply, submit your CV and a brief cover letter. We look forward to hearing from you!
