The role:
This role is essential to the Group's financial performance by providing insights, accurate reporting, and strategic support for decision-making. It collaborates across teams to optimise value, leverage technology and drive innovation in FP&A practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and communicate financial results, provide insights to the ELT, and sponsor performance improvement initiatives.
- Implement best-practice FP&A reporting methodologies, including AI and ML, to deliver value-added insights.
- Develop reporting frameworks for strategic initiatives working closely with the Valuation Director and team.
- Establish consistent, accurate management reporting, and coach finance teams on compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Oversee critical deliverables, including flash reports, executive summaries, and investor relations materials.
- Ensure timely, high-quality budgets and forecasts, with clear presentation of financial outcomes.
- Mentor FP&A resources, promote succession planning, and ensure continuity through cross-training.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing teams in an ASX-listed or global organisation.
- Expertise in management reporting and best practices.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to excellence with a strong service ethic.
