Weighbridge Operator / Cashier

This customer-facing role will enable you to further develop invaluable skills in the day-to-day running of our Mackay yard. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Timely, competant and professional customer service
• Completion of payments in accordance with customer trading terms
• Accurate record keeping in line with company requirements
• Maintaining an organised office, including organisation of files and records
• Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager

• Demonstrating a high focus on safety and commitment to EHS policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

• High level of customer service
• Previous experience handling accounts and invoicing 
• Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
• Reliable and efficient team player
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

Desirable criteria:

• Cash management experience
• Experience in Weighbridge roles or similar position
• Knowledge and experience with SAP programs
