We're looking for a Trading Representative / Account Manager with a talent for negotiation and building lasting relationships. You will be responsible for sourcing scrap metal from suppliers in Western Australia, playing a vital role in our mission to lead the recycling industry.
We are seeking a proactive Trading Representative / Account Manager to grow our supplier network and source scrap metal across Western Australia. Using your negotiation skills and talent for building relationships, you will drive new business generation and play a vital role in our mission to lead the recycling industry.

What You'll Do
- New Business Acquisition: Hunt for and secure high-volume scrap metal supply opportunities with industrial, manufacturing, and demolition clients.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure used ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal
- Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive procurement within company guidelines
- Monitor key performance metrics and collaborate with Operations and Transport teams for smooth logistics
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and maintaining positive partnerships
- Complete accurate monthly reports and manage costs in line with budgets
Who We're Looking For
You are the ideal candidate if you bring a mix of people experience, skill, and drive. We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years in Account Management, Sales, or Buying roles
- Sales-Driven Mindset: A proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or procurement (scrap metal or industrial sectors highly regarded).
- Strategic Negotiator: Exceptional ability to structure profitable deals and close new accounts.
- Market Awareness: Strong commercial acumen to analyse market trends and deliver solutions-focused value to suppliers.
- Proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels
