Your Role
We are looking for a hands-on and commercially-minded Project Manager – Operations Support to join our Western Australia team. This role reports to the Regional Operations Manager, WA.
This is a unique hybrid role that combines project delivery, operational support, and capital planning, working closely with site operations across Kwinana and Port Hedland.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while also supporting day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of site-based and external (outside jobs) projects
- Develop scopes, timelines, and resource plans
- Monitor performance against budget, schedule, and productivity targets
- Identify and resolve project risks and operational challenges
Operations Support
- Work closely with site teams to improve productivity and efficiency
- Provide on-ground support during peak periods, shutdowns, or critical jobs
- Act as a key link between Operations, Transport, Trading, and Engineering
CAPEX & Asset Planning
- Support development of CAPEX proposals and business cases
- Assist in prioritising investments in plant and equipment
- Monitor utilisation and performance of operational assets
Commercial & Logistics Coordination
- Support procurement and vendor engagement activities
- Work with Transport to optimise logistics and reduce costs
- Monitor cost per tonne and identify improvement opportunities
Safety & Compliance
- Champion safety and ensure compliance with SHECS standards
- Conduct risk assessments and support safe work practices across sites
