Responsibilities will include:
- Major / minor repairs of fixed and mobile plant and equipment
- Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns
- Provide assistance with minor welding on plant and equipment
- Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment
- Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records
- Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures
To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualifications as a Fitter and/or Boilermaker with experience in Conveyors, Motors and Gearboxes
- Forklift Tickets an added advantage, but willing to train
- Ability & willingness to pass a medical in line with the requirements of the role
- Experience in a similar position within a similar industry
- Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Display flexibility with operations and maintenance
