We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance & Administration Assistant, based in Kwinana Beach, WA. This role provides vital support to the State Accountant and Regional Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of finance and administrative tasks while assisting with HR-related activities for the WA business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the end-of-month process, including preparing journals, running general ledgers, and completing reconciliations.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure processes.
- Managing recruitment activities, including candidate screening, pre-employment checks, and coordinating interviews.
- Providing local HR support, including assisting managers with the Success Factors system and APAC recruitment initiatives.
- Arranging travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, and car hire.
- Handling reception duties, including greeting customers, managing emails, and coordinating visitor sign-ins.
- Managing local employee recognition programs and company events.
- Raising and receipting purchase orders and assisting with ad hoc duties as required.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- Basic experience in bookkeeping or accounting and knowledge of financial processes.
- Familiarity with HR practices and business systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, SAI).
- Proven customer service and communication skills.
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
