Your new role

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced administrator to work for the WA Maintenance team, based in Kwinana Beach.

Reporting to the State Engineer, you will facilitate the running of preventative and breakdown maintenance systems, as well as purchase order management.

You will be rewarded with ongoing mentoring opportunities, working for a sustainable growing business in a supportive and friendly team.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the State Engineer and Maintenance Supervisors both onsite and across WA.

  • Raise purchase orders to maintain stores stock/parts levels and ensure required orders are purchased in a timely and cost – effective manner.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance records for various plant servicing requirements are maintained by collating and entering the data into MEX and the appropriate excel files.

  • Ensure all legislative requirements are fulfilled in relation to plant and equipment, by organizing and recording inspections and results, and following up on any action required.

  • Generate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and standard jobs for fixed and mobile plant/equipment.

  • Assist the Engineer with maintaining and organizing training sessions for all Maintenance staff.

  • Assist State Engineer with End of Month Reconciliation of stores and purchase orders.

  • Manage and monitor maintenance software for all sites across WA.

 Essential Criteria:

  • High administration skills,

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a medium to large-scale team.

  • Ability to build rapport, with a high customer service ethos.

  • A self-motivated approach, you will enjoy influencing positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

 

Desirable criteria:

  • Previous experience with SAP and MEX

  • Previous experience in a maintenance/ scrap metal recycling industry
