Your new role
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for providing timely collection services with a focus on safety, customer service, punctuality, and a great flexible attitude.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring efficient service to customers by collecting scrap metal in a timely manner.
- Communicating with management to identify any on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental, or collection issues arising.
- Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine collections, our site safety, environmental and quality procedures.
- Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required.
- Operation of any additional mobile plant/equipment to assist with collection/loading.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- HC/MC license
- High levels of customer service, good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
- Flexibility with both transport and operations.
