Join Our Team! Two Immediate Openings at our Gladstone Yard

We are hiring for two key roles at our Gladstone yard: an Entry-Level Customer-Facing position and an Experienced Machine Operator.

Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will join a dynamic team responsible for sorting, grading, purchasing, and processing scrap metal using various types of heavy equipment. These are full-time positions with an immediate start available.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide a high level of service to all customers
• Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers using a forklift
• Operate heavy machinery, including forklift (excavator, material handler, and other shear operator experience is a plus)
• Accurately grade and sort scrap metal materials
• Maintain a safe and tidy site in compliance with all OH&S policies and environmental guidelines

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

• Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and build new skills through training
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
• For the Experienced Machine Operator: A valid Forklift license and significant operational experience are essential. Excavator, material handler, and other shear operation experience is highly desirable.
