For our Ginsheim-Gustavsburg location, we are looking for a:

 

Production Manager

 

Your role

Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS) is one of the world's leading electronics reuse and recycling companies. Our production area includes work areas of certified data erasure, the reprocessing of IT devices (including notebooks, servers, mobile devices) and on-site data destruction.

 

This position reports to the Site Manager and gives you the opportunity to manage the yard within Sims Lifecycle Services. You will be able to work closely with the team to ensure the yard is operating at maximum efficiency while providing excellent seller and customer service.

 

Your tasks

  • You will work closely with the local production and customer service team to provide customized solutions and services. This includes also ensuring that contractual agreements are met in terms of quality, timeliness and continuity of service.
  • Managing all operations so that the safety, health, environmental and quality requirements are exceeded
  • Support process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
  • You lead and motivate the employees in the individual production areas and ensure that operations run smoothly.
  • You develop employees in order to achieve their goals and to supplement or promote their individual skills.
  • You will work on various projects.

 

You bring

  • Education or experience in a technical or commercial profession
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing or service industry.
  • A proven leader with experience of running a medium-sized company (5-20 employees)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Structured way of working and high problem-solving skills
  • Have scheduling, planning and time management skills.
  • Commercially oriented: management of costs and added value
