Location

The position is based in the UK, and oversees the EHS data management systems (incident, learning management, leading indicator) throughout Europe.

Purpose of Role

The EHS System Specialist works with the EHS Partner – Europe to provide support and guidance to the company's regional business units. Will assist to develop and implement systems, programs,

monitoring of performance with respect to key performance indicators.

Principal Accountabilities

 

Job Description – EHS Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management Systems
    1. Supports system improvements to meet the needs of the business
    2. Monitors all EHS key performance indicators, company EHS management systems, metrics and programs
    3. Monitors all EHS related regional deliverables for quality
  2. Regional Support
    1. Assists with global EHS program development and implementation
    2. Supports reviews of global hazard alerts (Incident Learning)
    3. Designs automated regional EHS performance reports
    4. Supports information distribution from EHS performance system dashboards
    5. Supports EHS regional communication plans
    6. Reviews all regional performance data and identifies at-risk locations
    7. Monitors continuous improvement plans and actions
    8. Drives quality in incident reporting through daily review
    9. Monitors training module assignments
  3. Corporate Support
    1. Supports data gathering and presentation development for the Senior Leadership Team and Executive, where required.
    2. Responds to leadership data inquiries.
    3. Support the corporate audit team, customer, subcontractor, downstream vendor audit processes.

 

This role requires a proactive and engaged EHS professional committed to driving operational safety excellence and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

 

Experience / Qualifications Required

  • BS/BA required. Industrial Hygiene or Safety preferred
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional, or similar certification
  • preferred
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience
  • Experienced in hazard identification, incident management, root cause analysis, ISO
  • certification requirements, and internal auditing
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools, EHS Management System databases, and Learning
  • Management Systems
  • Exceptional people skills. Able to develop trust-based relationships
  • Familiarity with business acumen and concepts of safe productivity
