The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Brooklyn team.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to deliver planned maintenance, manage breakdowns, and drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the maintenance team to achieve performance and safety targets
- Oversee and support day-to-day maintenance operations, including preventative and corrective tasks
- Conduct pre-start meetings with a focus on safety, planning, and team alignment
- Manage workshop tools and critical spare parts to ensure operational readiness
- Allocate tasks and optimise resource use to maximise equipment uptime
- Collaborate with the State Engineer to plan and deliver capital and shutdown projects
About You
- Trade qualified - Fitter & Turner, Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker (Must be Australian recognised)
- Strong background in maintenance within a heavy industrial environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising technical or maintenance teams
- Solid understanding of safety systems, risk management, and compliance requirements
- Licences in EWP, Working at Heights, and Forklift,
- Franna Crane or D-Class Electrical License beneficial but willing to provide training.
- Flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as required
