The Role:

An excellent opportunity for an accomplished HR Business Partner to support our VIC and SA business units. In this strategic role, you’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders to deliver HR initiatives that align with regional priorities and the broader APAC HR strategy.

 

You’ll play a key role in driving culture, strengthening workforce capability, and ensuring alignment with local legislative requirements. As a trusted advisor, you will influence people strategies that directly support business goals and continuous improvement across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders across VIC and SA to implement HR initiatives in alignment with regional strategies.
  • Support employee relations matters in partnership with subject matter experts, ensuring timely and effective resolution aligned with regional ER strategies.
  • Drive local talent acquisition efforts, ensuring effective recruitment, selection, and onboarding to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Lead local talent development activities, including succession planning, capability building, and learning and development programs aligned with APAC objectives.
  • Support organisational design initiatives, including role definition, and job sizing ensuring alignment with strategic business needs.
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and implement diversity & inclusion initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, company policies, and EHS requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Leverage HR systems and data, supporting HRIS activities and delivering accurate reporting to meet both regulatory and business requirements.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field; postgraduate qualification in HR is desirable.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a blue-collar environment
  • Strong expertise in HR practices, HRIS systems, and employment legislation, with a solid business acumen and experience in cost/benefit analysis.
  • Analytical and solution-driven, able to manage complex HR issues while influencing stakeholders and building strong relationships.
