The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs across our world-class fixed plant - ensuring reliability, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.
You’ll be supported with ongoing mentoring and development opportunities while working within a stable, growing, and sustainability-focused business, alongside a collaborative and friendly team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance to all fixed plant and equipment, including our hammermill shredder, downstream conveyor system, baler & metal sorters.
- Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records
- Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures
- Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns
About You:
- Trade-qualified Fitter, with experience working on conveyors, motors and gearboxes
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and/or metal processing equipment
- Well-developed diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to carry out effective repairs
- Current driver’s licence
