The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs across our world-class fixed plant - ensuring reliability, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.

You’ll be supported with ongoing mentoring and development opportunities while working within a stable, growing, and sustainability-focused business, alongside a collaborative and friendly team.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance to all fixed plant and equipment, including our hammermill shredder, downstream conveyor system, baler & metal sorters.
  • Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records
  • Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures
  • Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns

 

About You:

  • Trade-qualified Fitter, with experience working on conveyors, motors and gearboxes
  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and/or metal processing equipment
  • Well-developed diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to carry out effective repairs
  • Current driver’s licence
