The Role

We are looking for a Belt Picker to join our team at our Broadmeadows yard. Your main duty will be to pick and sort items off a conveyor belt.  This is a fast paced, repetitive, labour intensive position.  This is an ongoing position for the right person and will involve maintaining the cleanliness of a busy yard, general labouring and process work.

To achieve this, your responsibilities include:

• Experience working on a conveyor work not essential but advantageous
• Be physically fit and unafraid to get your hands dirty
• Experience in a similar industry also not essential but preferable
• Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required,
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures.

To be successful in this challenging position you will be able to demonstrate the following skills or attributes,

• Experience in a similar industry also not essential but preferable
• Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
• Process minded and understand OH&S standards/practices
• Ability to pass a D&A test
