Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate equipment, including forklift (where licensed).
  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service
  • Grading and sorting metals.
  • Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.

 

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

  • Attention to detail – This role involves working with metal and requires the ability to identify and separate different materials.
  • A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training to diversify your skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, and basic computer literacy.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or similar roles.

 

Desirable criteria:

  • Forklift ticket highly regarded
  • WTR license
  • Experience in the Metal Recycling Industry, which involved metal sorting & processing techniques and/or Traffic Controllers
