Your New Role

 

Reporting to the Alexandria Yard Manager, you will be responsible for the receipt, classification and storage of Non-Ferrous materials. Where required, you will utilise your forklift skills for the unloading & storage of materials.

 

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm 

Saturday 7am to 1.30pm 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include 

 

  • Prompt and friendly customer service 
  • Utilising a forklift where required to inspect, grade and move materials into storage
  • Grading material in accordance with direction received from Yard Manager and/or Supervisor
  • Assisting the Yard Manager with stock control records as required
  • Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to Safety in everything you do

 

To Be Successful in This Opportunity, You Will Have

 

  • A proactive approach with excellent customer service ethic
  • Good numeracy and mathematical skills
  • Foundational computer knowledge with ability to complete basic data entry
  • A current forklift license is essential

 

It Will Be Of Added Advantage If You Have

 

  • Knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing techniques and equipment will be highly advantageous!
